We read the books pictured below during transitions today (there are so many excellent beginning of the school year books out there). Feel free to ask your child which was his or her favorite and why!
I enjoyed our first day and beginning to get to know everyone!

After she left school today, Scarlett told us that she "wished she could go to school every day, even Saturdays!"

This is *awesome*!! Ok, I have to admit, you had me with your 'welcome' letter... the fact that you gave us your number as well as your email was a home run for me since that did not happen last year! And aces for having a website to boot!! I just realized all the questions I tried to ask Kyle this week in an effort to get information about what he's doing in class, will be right here! (For instance, was the 'foot' for 'walking' to school - he claims it's for 'nursery school' which makes no sense to me when coupled with the car and then bus!! :) The night before school started I read "Froggy Goes to School" and "Bernstein Bears Go To School" both about the first day of school and super cute. At the breakfast table, I read him "Kissing Hand"... that had me brimming with tears both last year and this! ;) I'm very happy Kyle is in your classroom and so is he. Thanks you!
