Good morning! I just wanted to reiterate some Walk-a-thon information that went home in our Room 16 October Newsletter regarding the Walk-a-thon. Also, I wanted to add that the students can wear silly socks tomorrow in celebration of the Walk-a-thon, as well as Walk and Bike to School Day. Mismatched socks are a way to make socks silly if a child does not have silly socks. As mentioned in our newsletter, clothes comfortable for walking, as well as a hat and sunscreen, will make your child's experience more pleasant tomorrow. A light layer, such as a long sleeved shirt, might be helpful as well what with the fall weather. Teachers cannot apply sunscreen to students, so please do so before your student gets to school. As always, students can also bring a water bottle (labeled with his or her name is helpful) to stay hydrated. Looking forward to a wonderful Walk-a-thon! Students who raise at least $20.00 by tomorrow get to walk their first lap with Ms. Kamstra. The student who raises the most money for the school overall gets to be principal for a day! Thank you for your support!
